- For additional security, hold on to the handrails and connect the safety clip to your workout clothes.
- Walk naturally with an even gait.
- Breathe normally and reduce speed if the challenge feels too great.

Walk faster, stronger and longer by doing these 3 simple lower body strengthening moves after your treadmill workout:
- 2 sets of 10 squats
- 20 walking lunges
- 20 calf raises on the stairs
