High Gloss Look for AF Halesowen
With a focus on personal customer service, franchise jewelry veterans and family company, THBaker are not new to running successful franchise businesses, and 2018 sees the company expanding its portfolio; investing in the fitness and leisure industry with the launch of its first Anytime Fitness in Halesowen.
Franchise Director, Colette Freeman, says: “We wanted to diversify and I’ve always had a keen interested in going to the gym and believe fitness is something there will always be a demand for. It’s a very personal experience, similar to buying jewelry. A while ago I joined a local Anytime Fitness and liked the franchise model, so we decided to start our own club and transfer the skill sets we have amassed over the years.”
It is located next door to a supermarket on the busy Halesowen High Street, the 4,700 sq. ft. gym features Precor cardiovascular equipment, showcasing the new Precor colors of sleek and sophisticated dark Tungsten covers with chic Black Pearl (BP) frames. This bold look provides a clean, unified look across the Anytime Fitness Halesowen gym floor.
Freeman states: “We want to give our members the opportunity to train on high-quality equipment. The new colors look great and provide a cohesive image, and the equipment performs exceptionally well too. It was important to us to have a differential over our local competitors, and Precor gave us this.”
The focal point of the gym is a large versatile Queenax® functional fitness unit, providing members with numerous exercise options and circuit-based training classes, where an Assault AirBike Elite and an Assault AirRunner are also used.
Freeman concludes: “Precor was a natural choice when choosing equipment. The stunning Queenax and the high quality of both cardiovascular and strength pieces, coupled with the new colorways was just part of the overall decision. The Precor team brought so much more to the table than other suppliers. They worked with us on the gym design, gave unbiased information and even went out of their way to take us to other facilities to see the equipment in situ and use. All our equipment is from Precor. However, it’s the Queenax that takes center stage. It’s an integral part of our overall offering due to the numerous exercise options it provides our members.”
